What happened to my heart?

Oh yeah, I gave it to some woman in a Winn-Dixie parking lot in Eufaula, Alabama.

Damned panhandlers..........

Ten years ago tonight, Seraphim officially became my 'significant other' (read: exclusive cardio-property of the other). Making for a nice, round ten years.

She was wearing a red top and I still remember her face in the car when we both - for lack of a better phrase - "agreed to go steady." Sera looked positively beautiful.

A decade later, she still looks awesome.

Happy anniversary, my best friend, girlfriend, wife and partner in whatever life throws at us.

I love you.

Happy Anniversary!
You and Susan and Michael almost share an anniversay..how cool! Yall need to get together on the 20th!

Have you guys seen the movie "Because of Winn-Dixie"? It's about a dog that changed a girls life - not suggesting that you are a dog - but it's a feel good movie...esp since you picked up something that changed your life at the Winn-Dixie! :)

Thanks, Melissa.

Haven't seen that movie, would you believe?

Winn-Dixie was important to us in another way, too. I proposed to Seraphim on February 25, 2000 while at her place in Columbus, Ga. over the weekend.

What did we do to 'celebrate' after that momentous occasion? We hit Winn-Dixie for a late-night grocery run.

We're quite a couple. Of WHAT remains to be debated.

And I DID 'pick her up' at the Winn-Dixie, too. Eufaula was kind of a 'halfway' point between our respective cities (Troy and Columbus), and Wednesday night was our "mid-week bonding fix." We always met in the WD parking lot, where we got into my car to drive around and do whatever.

And before you say a word, Bolivar, there's no Kroger presence in that part of Alabanana.
